Before Founding Geosavers in 2014, Dr. Nkwnayang worked for Euroil Limited between 2010 and 2011 during the Bomono 2D exploration. He has more than 8 years of experience within the solid and liquid mineral industry. He has attended several professional, technical, and management courses and holds Certificates from countries including Australia, Namibia, Ethiopia, South Africa, Madagascar, and Nigeria.

He has had a two-sided professional career in the civil service, and the oil industry. He served as the Chief of service for Mines, Geology and Mining Survey in the Ministry of Mines Industry and Technological Development where he worked on extractive governance and contract negotiation. He holds a Ph.D. In Petroleum Geoscience from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, and server as a lecturer with the Department of Geology, University of Bamenda, is a Cameroonian and lives in Limbe.
