Johanna is a Namibian geologist with over ten years’ experience in both the private and public sectors of the mining industry. Johanna’s expertise lies in the regulation of artisanal and small-scale mining sector, geological mapping, and mineral exploration.

Johanna is soon to graduate with a Master of Law in International Mineral Law and Policy from the University of Dundee, Scotland, and she holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration as well as a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Namibia. She has also received a professional development training in Local Economic and Social Development in Extractives from the University of Queensland, Australia.
